Brief Introduction

  • Zhi-Ri Tang is an Associate Professor at School of Intelligent Systems Science and Engineering, Jinan University. He received B.Sc and M.Eng degrees from Wuhan University in 2017 and 2019, respectively, and obtained a Ph.D degree from the Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong in 2024. His current research interests mainly include machine learning, computer vision, biomedical engineering, and AI for healthcare. In recent years, he has authored or co-authored many papers in refereed journals and conferences, including IEEE JBHI, TCYB, TCDS, etc. He also served as associate editor, guest editor and PC member for several journals and conferences. He won the silver medal and first prize in the 2018 Intel InnovateFPGA Global Innovation Competition in the Greater China Regional Final, and first price in 2024 ASC Student Supercomputer Challenge Finals.
  • 汤知日现在于暨南大学智能科学与工程学院担任副教授,他分别在2017和2019年于武汉大学获得学士和硕士学位,并在2024年于香港城市大学计算机科学系获得博士学位。主要的研究兴趣包括机器学习、计算机视觉、生物医学工程以及智慧医疗等。近年来,在IEEE JBHI、TCYB和TCDS等权威SCI期刊/国际会议上发表多篇论文,同时也是多个期刊的副编/客座编辑以及会议程序委员会成员。曾获2018年Intel InnovateFPGA全球创新大赛大中华区决赛银牌及一等奖,2024年ASC世界大学生超级计算机竞赛一等奖。

Research Interests

  • Methods: Cognitive computing, machine learning, data mining, deep learning, and some algorithms aiming to solve the settings lack training data or labels, including semi-supervised/unsupervised/weakly supervised/few-shot learning;
  • Applications: Biomedical informatics, image and signal processing, and other interesting applications related to intelligent healthcare.
